UK Business Visa requirements and how the process works
To obtain a UK Business Visa, you need to prepare a detailed business plan and receive endorsement — official approval from an authorized body in the United Kingdom. Without this endorsement, you cannot apply.
The project is assessed based on three key criteria:
✔ innovation (what makes your idea different)
✔ viability (whether the business can realistically operate)
✔ scalability (whether it can grow into a larger business)
For the Innovator visa, you also need investment of at least £50,000. The Start-up visa may not require large funding, but you still need to prove that you can successfully launch and run your project.
In the long term, a business visa not only allows you to work for yourself but can also become a pathway to permanent residency in the UK
